Blacki robots have been used by the military in a number of applications, including in support of our ground troops. A new application we are discussing with the Army is to move artillery shells to the gun site by robot. Our chassis and arm are the perfect combination to handle the job. The Army has designated the application among its top five priorities, as it will free up troops for other work while cutting costs.
Our arm was originally designed to handle shells to counter IEDs, so the transition to a military reloading application should be relatively easy. Our Landshark robot also appears to be a good fit, and we have meetings scheduled with the Army in the next few weeks.
The artillery application is just one of many projects we are discussing with the Army, other Defense Department organizations and government contractors, not only for programs here in the States but abroad as well.
